Music and Financial Crises. Here is an example about my band.

Music business is just a part of the whole business system. But as it is still BUSINESS it was also damaged by Financial Crises. And my band felt this.

When I asked about the festival they said that only 15 bands registered, however, last year it was more than 60. Can you see the difference? So, there is a great possibility that the festival will be canceled and this year Finland won't take part in it. Unfortunately...They need at least 20 more bands to rock....

Well, I will write again if I get some news.

And we haven't been practicing for a while... However, we all miss our favorite activity...I've been talking to Joonas yesterday...Yea, he also misses everything...It is like a slight addiction...You can't live without this...

Freedom of life

YEEEA!!! I definitely love this song! Love it because it is showing myself from the other side. Another technique: more rock vocal, however, it hurts vocal chords a lot as it was said in one of video tips. Yea, this is right, you are feeling yourself rather tired after singing. Usually, if you are singing correct ("avoiding" vocal chords, if i can describe it like this), you can sing 2 hours and your voice won't be tired. But rock vocal requires more pressure, more emotions, more scream. And, of course, you still need to do it rather careful not to loose your voice. But this song helped me a lot to find myself and not to be afraid of some artistic way of singing. I was usually cared a lot about the right vocal technique and I was loosing my own way of singing because of this. But now I am not afraid to make something "out of rules" and I can feel these in other songs as well. And I am glad that Joonas finally likes how I am singing punk-rock even if only he thinks that this song is a punk-rock =)))))))))))) But, yea, i think I will write about styles and problems with them later on...=)

They are a part of me. Our music is my heart.

If you want to know me better you need to listen to our songs. May be my lyrics are not so deep and complicated but they describe my thoughts and feelings. May be my music is soft and easy but it describes my dreams.

Love, emotions, feelings, thoughts... Everything is in my songs. Sometimes, I write about troubles in my life. This is like a confession that heals... Sometimes I just need to fall in love... Sometimes I combine different moments of my life in my songs... And sometimes I just need to look at Joonas. =) Yea, yea=) Our last song "Freedom of life" was written exactly like this. I just started to think what it can be about. Then I looked at him and the word "Freedom" appeared in my mind...Yea, he seems to be free...

Separately we are vocalist (me), drumer (Joonas), guitarist (Jussi) and bass guitarist (Phil), and separately we are a little bit more than nothing, yea... But together we are Who Said That? - promising ( I hope), upcoming rock band! And together we are THE BEST!=) We like each other and what we do.
